Welcome to South Littleton, a vibrant village thriving towards a sustainable future.

South Littleton is a village and civil parish located in the Wychavon district of Worcestershire, England. We are located midway between Evesham and Bidford on Avon and we are the largest of three ‘Littletons’ villages, with North and Middle Littleton being smaller. At the 2001 census we had 1,775 residents, while North and Middle Littleton had a population of 906.

South Littleton is a vibrant village with great amenities suited to residents of all ages.  We have a convenient and friendly village shop, a Post Office, a gorgeous church, and plenty of clubs and organisations to get involved with.

South Littleton Parish Council

Our village is overseen by the South Littleton Parish Council.  The group usually meets every third Thursday of the month at 7:30pm (except for August) in the Scout Hut on Long Hyde Ryde Road, South Littleton. 

Members of South Littleton Parish Council are unpaid parishioners elected by parishioners or in case of vacancies, co-opted by the Council. Elections are every four years (the last election was held in the spring of 2023). There are nine seats on South Littleton Parish Council and three councillors are required to be quorate for a meeting.

The Council is financed in the main by the precept. The precept is the Council’s share of the council tax collected by Wychavon District Council. Each year, generally around December, the Council sets its budget and precept request for the following financial year.

We are a committed and experienced group of volunteers who are here to enhance our village as best we can and support parishioners in our collective needs and aspirations.  We are also always looking for suggestions and new ideas to keep our village looking and feeling fresh, safe and vibrant.
