Within our parish, we have many convenient amenities, as well as plenty of organisations run by local residents and charities. We also have more casual groups who meet regularly and sports teams who make use of the brilliant fields we have.

PLAYGROUNDS AND REC GROUNDS
South Littleton is home to two fantastic recreational grounds, offering something for everyone. The main rec ground, situated on Long Hyde Road features a well-equipped playground which includes a slide, a zip wire and a willow tunnel. There is also a Multi Use Games Area which has a basketball net, cricket stumps and a tarred area for ball play. In addition, there are football goals which will soon have a net!
The Rec, as it’s affectionately called, also features 3 outdoor fitness stations and a scenic perimeter path perfect for exercise, dog walking or a leisurely stroll. It’s a great spot for family picnics, with plenty of open space and two herb planters available for residents to use. In addition, a newly planted orchard brings a touch of nature and sustainability to the village.
The second Rec Ground is situated in the South Meadows area of the village, on Withy Trees Road. This has been designed with children in mind, boasting a playground full of equipment, as well as a lovely green space for relaxation and picnics.

VILLAGE SHOP
South Littleton Village Shop is open daily from 07:00 until 7:00pm daily, including Sundays. It has all the conveniences of a village shop with the added bonus of having a Post Office inside.
LITTLETONS TENNIS & PICKLE BALL CLUB
Established in 1973, The Littletons Tennis and Pickle Ball Club offers two artificial grass courts and two hard courts, all equipped with permanent lines for four pickleball courts. Members can participate in club nights, tournaments, and league matches, with men’s, ladies’, and mixed teams competing in both summer and winter leagues. Pickleball is thriving at the club, featuring regular taster sessions led by trained coaches. The club maintains an open policy, encouraging newcomers to try out the facilities before committing to membership.

LITTLETONS BOWLING CLUB
With a rich history dating back to 1947, the Littletons Bowling Club began as part of the Littleton Sports Club, with the green established through a joint effort by the Parish Council and the Sports Club, aided by the Playing Fields Association. Worcestershire Bowling Association
The club offers both outdoor and indoor bowling facilities, featuring six outdoor rinks and two indoor rinks, allowing for year-round play. Members participate in various leagues, including the Concorde League and the Vale Triples League, where the club has achieved notable success. The club also hosts a full programme of winter leagues and competitions, attracting teams from Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, and Warwickshire. Worcestershire Bowling Association
The club’s facilities include a bar which is open to the public on Wednesday evenings.
FREEDOM DAY CENTRE
Freedom Day Centre provides a safe and welcoming environment for individuals with Learning Disabilities and other special needs. Their aim is to help the service users to be more independent, gain new skills, as well as develop current ones and become a more active part of the community.
The Freedom Day Centre also have a Community café which is open Monday to Thursday 10:00 until 2:00pm. Enjoy a hot meal, pudding and drink for just £4. Or pop in and just have a drink with everyone.
